See the video below of our Snookums, a Boston Terrier/Boxer mix who was abandoned in a dog park at about 10 months old.

She currently weighs about 40 pounds, is spayed, heartworm negative, and current on all vaccines. She is crate trained and has never had an accident in the house but it is important to remember that being in a foster family with multiple dogs she has access to the outside frequent times during the day. She is crated at night and when unsupervised.

She is a crazy, lovable bundle of energy. who is extremely boisterous when she’s excited and very clingy to her foster family when she wants to be.  Snookums loves playing with other dogs and like the Energizer Bunny – she keeps going and going and going – but when. she’s tired she can sleep for hours.

She’ll need her fur ever humans to be active, strong pack leaders, have a fenced yard, and she’ll do best in an adult household. Older kids would probably be okay; her energy level is too much for young children. She would love a doggy playmate and a cat-free home would be best. Note: She is not use to small dogs, she does well with dogs her size and larger in her current foster situation.

Snookums is a master of silly faces and goofy antics. She’s got a cute underbite and a sweet smile.

It will take patience, and some focused training, but she’ll be an awesome addition to someone’s family.  She’s a quick learner, having already mastered sitting and goin to her room (crate) on command.

Snookums having some fun!
